Our Bow Top Romany Wagon

offered a unique cosy getaway

Step back in time and imagine, the Romany travelers sitting on board this beautifully painted wagon as their horses pull them to a picturesque setting. This perfect little glamping option allows you to enjoy a holiday with a difference.

Positioned on our ‘quiet side’ nestled within large conifer it is close enough to amenities like the toilet block but feels like your own secluded area with plants pots around, a camp fire and BBQ.

Our Romany Caravan delivers an experience like no other. The bow top, 4-berth, wagon sleeps two in a cosy traditional double bed. The caravan offers traditional interior, providing a dining area with a table, which easily converts into the comfortable double bed. Also, a cosy sitting area. The compact wagon also presents a toilet, hand basin, twin ring cooker, kitchen sink, and wardrobe among other storage facilities. Outside there are seats on the front of the wagon, a picnic bench, a BBQ and a camp fire.

Think of staying in our Wagon as a mix between camping and staying in self catering accommodation, here’s a list of things we’d suggest to bring and what to leave at home to save space in the car (not an exhaustive list).

What’s there:

-Sink ,washing up liquid, a sponge and a washing up cloth. A water container is there for you to collect drinking water, there is a drinking water tap very close by near pitch 3.

-Bedding is a double bed easily converted from the dining room table. Topper available. You will need to bring all bedding.

-Kitchen and eating equipment such as a stove, pans, cutlery, plates, bottle opener etc.

-Picnic table and seating

-Small Toilet hut with soap and toilet roll.

-A cool box. Freezer packs are available to freeze your own or hire in the reception / laundry area for a very small additional charge.

-A BBQ (we do not provide charcoal however we do sell some in our reception hut) and Camp fire and logs to sit on (you get some logs for your arrival, we sell logs in our reception hut if you run out).

What to bring:

-Everything you would usually pack when staying in self catering accommodation i.e. clothes, toiletries, towels, food (no seasonings or oil provided), etc.

-Bedding: Bottom sheets, quilts and covers or sleeping bags.

-A good torch. We do have lighting in the area and a portable battery light but we highly recommend you bring your own too.

-20p’s for the showers in the toilet block.

-Warm clothes and hot chocolate for star glazing.
