What will happen to my booking if we are still in national lock down (Covid-19) or I am in a regional lock down upon my arrival day?
We will not open our site until the national lock down is over. Then if we do go into regional lock downs and you cannot make your booking due to a lock down we will work together with you to postpone your booking or worst case cancel it and receive a refund.
What is your cancellation policy?
Log cabins & Glamping:
When you book a 25% deposit is paid.
If you cancel 30 days or more before you are due to arrive, that 25% deposit is refundable.
At least 7 days before arrival, you will pay your full balance for the booking.
Camping / Caravanning Pitches:
Even though we ask for card details upon booking, you will not pay your balance for your pitch until you get to site (except bank holidays, see below) where you will need to come to the reception hut and pay your balance.
If you need to cancel your pitch, you do need to advise us by email or telephone Vicky on 07827818094.
For bank holidays we do ask for advance full payment for camping / caravan pitches. This can be refunded if you cancel more than 7 days in advance.
How long do the showers last?
You will need to bring some 20’p with you for the showers. A 20p gives you 5 minutes approx of running water, please insert more 20’p if you would like a shower. We always have 20p’s in the reception hut you can get at reception times.

Can I have a supermarket shop delivered to our pitch/cabin/ glamping unit?
Yes, people have done this in the past! Please give our address but note that you are a customer. It’s a good idea to go wait at the bottom of the lane when the delivery is due or let the delivery driver know where you’ll be.
Where is the nearest shop / pub?
We do not have a shop on site.
There is a great well stocked village shop in Normanby by Spital 2.4 miles away. This is right next door to a great local pub which serves fantastic food called the Bottle and Glass.
The village of Welton, 4 miles away has a variety of shops like the coop, chinese takeaway, fish and chips and a good pub for food called The Black Bull.
Lincoln is about 11 miles away and has many pubs / restaurants and also all the major supermarkets.
Which pitches are best suited for large groups?
We would recommend the rally field, this field is a vast space with no pitch numbers (except electric) so you can pick your pitch aslong as you are around the edge of the field and not too close to each other.

Yes if you have booked an electric hook up pitch and plan on having electric, you will need a caravan electric hook up cable, these usually have a blue end.

What is the rally field?
It’s called this as historically its been used for rally’s or larger groups. These pitches (apart from the A,B,C,D electric pitches) are a first come first serve basic. You can pitch anywhere around the outside of the field that isn’t sign posted not to pitch.
Why do I have to pay upfront for bank holiday?
Historically our bank holidays are our busiest times, and once are site and units are full we are turning people away left, right and centre. Therefore it is only fair we ask for payment upfront beforehand and no shows will not receive a refund. If you cancel more than 7 days away, we will refund you your money.

Yes, we do. These are for all customers to use. Please do not move these onto your pitch, they are for all customers to enjoy. (Except the gypsy caravan one / bell tent ones which are for the customers of these units only).

Yes, of course. However we do have visitor charges, please see prices.

Why isn’t the reception hut open, I need to leave but can’t anyone to pay / I need to speak to someone.
As a small business, we would drive ourselves silly sat in the reception hut all day, this is why we have reception hours please come and see us with enquiries and pay in these hours. If there is an emergency or you need immediate attention , please call Robert on 07850679189.
How big are the pitches?
The pitches are on a generous size by most camp site standards, measuring at least 10 meters wide (most are even wider) and around the edge of a field so you have plenty of space.
Are we allowed BBQ’s?
Yes, we allow BBQ’s aslong as they are off the ground and on bricks. Please feel free to borrow bricks from our pile.

This year we have invested in large bins, one for general waste one for recycling. Please put your general waste in bags and then into the bin and put your recycling loose into it’s bin. You will find these at the top of the main field and near the toilet block. We pride ourselves on recycling, please see our recycling page for more information.
We are coming as a group in the rally field some of us are having electric and some are not, can we be next to each other?
The electric pitches on the rally field are fixed, however if you do not want electric you can place yourselves anywhere around the edge of the field.
